—Mizunokouji Asuka[src]
Asuka Mizunokōji (水乃小路 飛鳥, Mizunokouji Asuka?) is Tobimaro Mizunokōji's younger sister. She inherited her strength, speed, and agility from her mother (that she could uproot a huge tree and run with it)[1] but is quiet and meek. Her mother raised her in isolation to keep her away from men and thus keep her pure. Even her brother didn't know that she existed due to this. The first man she meets is Ataru and the encounter leaves her with a phobia of males. The mere sight of a man will trigger her to go on a rampage causing massive destruction and scaring away the men.
Biography[]
Asuka's parents had arranged a marriage between her and Shūtarō Mendō beforehand, to bring the two families together. But, Asuka does not understand how relationships work and she even addresses Shūtarō and Ryuunosuke as "big brothers". Although her mother tries hard to cure her of the phobia, and she starts to recover, Ataru somehow confronts her accidentally, and she ends up relapsing.
Appearance[]
Her hair is in a ponytail held together by a pink bow. She usually wears a yellow shirt with a black gymnastic leotard (reversed colors in reboot) and teal-green leggings (fuchsia in reboot). She shares the same "starry-eyes" as her brother and mother, refrencing the heroes from 1960s and 70s sports manga such as Kyoujin no Hoshi.
Personality[]
Despite her incredible strength, Asuka is as timid and shy as a mouse, mostly due to being isolated her whole life. She has a very mixed-up view on males, stemming from how the first male she ever met was Ataru Moroboshi, which has made her deathly afraid of men. She develops an incestuous attraction to her older brother, Tobimaro because of him defending her from Ataru and Mendō.
Abilities[]
From training within a large suit of armor for her whole life, she has developed superhuman strength, speed, and agility. Some of her feet's of power include uprooting a tree, tearing apart a war tank with her bare hands, and send people (usaully men) flying way with a single push. She's so strong that she could unknowingly crush someone's spine to dust with a single hug.
Relationships[]
Shortly after meeting her older brother Tobimaro, Asuka develops a crush on him, to the great dismay of both Tobimaro and their mother. Asuka's isolated upbringing and poor understanding of the world prevent her from actually comprehending the concept of brother-sister incest. Anything Tobimaro does or says only fuels her incestual desires for him.
Her parents had arranged a marriage between her and Shūtarō Mendō to unite the two families. At first, Shūtarō wasn't intresting in being engaged to a suit of armor, but upon discovering her face for the first time, he fell in love with her, even if Asuka was afraid of him at the time. When she overhears Ryoko call him "oni-sama", she thinks that he is also a "big brother" and apologies for thinking he was a "man" before.
The first man she ever set eyes on was, Ataru as he ambushed her. The experience left her with a really bad impression of men and now she has a dangerous phobia of males. Any attempt she made on overcoming her androphobia, Ataru will somehow get involved and trigger a relapse.
