Summary[]
Ran reaffirms her ongoing desire to avenge herself on Lum for her childhood misdeeds.
Plot Overview[]
Ran invites Lum to a cafe for lunch. Lum hopes that her old friend wants to make peace at long last, but instead Ran reminds her of the many times that Lum got her into trouble when they were both little girls, vowing to punish Lum for this long catalogue of woes. In the end, Lum tearfully leaves... and also leaves Ran to pick up the check for both of them, giving her yet another grievance to stew over.

Trivia[]
- Rumiko Takahashi published her one-shot story The Entrepreneurial Spirit, about a teenage spiritualist named Ryoko trying to summon the spirit of a deceased student for a fee of 1,500 yen ($15), in the pages of Heibon Punch Special Issue: That's Comics, in between publishing chapters 59 and 60 of Urusei Yatsura.
- This chapter introduce readers to Ran's mother, and the role she and Lum both played in how Ran turned out.
- On the penultimate page, when Lum tries to take the blame for Ran wrecking her mother's favorite doll, she refers to Ran's mother as "auntie"; this is not because Lum and Ran are related, but rather in Japan it's custom for children to refer to non-familial adults as "Aunt" or "Uncle" as a sign of respect.
- On the final page, Ran's bill of 1,580 yen translates as $15.80 in American dollars.
