Summary[]
With her armor now gone, Ataru and also Mendō go after a confused Asuka who has become deathly afraid of all men and develops inappropriate feelings for her brother. Meanwhile Ryōko tries to stop the arranged marriage with a giant army.

Trivia[]
- This is the second half of a two-part story.
- The name of the Mendō experimental battlesuit, "Octopussy", is a reference to a 1983 James Bond film, which was itself named after its female lead.
- The sequence where Ryōko Mendō discovers the Octopussy has no defense systems and is forced to flee the assaults of the Mizunokōji army marks the only time that Ryōko gets herself into trouble as a result of her mischief, something that never happens in the original manga,
Differences from the manga[]
Ryōko doesn't command an army against the Mizunokōji army and use a robot to reach her brother. Her Kuroko were able to get into the Mizunokōji mansion and set explosives in the room where everyone was to allow Ryōko to come in.
