Summary[]
Lum catches a cold from her father, and Ataru's male classmates bribe him into getting her sick mask so they can get an indirect kiss via it, but it turns out the virus has a weird effect on humans.

Differences from the manga[]
- Lum sneezes after her father leaves, and there are no other scenes in Ataru's house.
- Thus Ataru's parents don't appear.
- The scenes with Shinobu rejecting Mendō for his new look and Sakura experimenting on Cherry are Anime original (Ataru gets the idea of finding Ten right after everyone got desperate by the fact that they can't contact Lum's UFO).
- Thus Cherry doesn't appear.
- Hanawa appears at the end as the class teacher.
