Ten learns the difficulties of being the righteousness of the universe while trying to take out Ataru after receiving a costume from a salary-man superhero with a ridiculously long name, whom Ran and Lum have a grudge against.

Differences from the manga[]
The plot is the same overall, but in the manga:
- The story starts with Ataru hitting Ten out with the pan.
- Ten takes the bucket of water from Torajima who was using it for face and mouth washing.
- The scene where Ataru meets Ran in the street—and consequently, their dialogue—is much shorter.
- Ran and Lum are not wearing high school uniforms, and their conversation takes place on the streets rather than in school.
- Sakura doesn't appear.
- The hero costumes Lum and Ran wear during the flashback are identical to the one Ten is wearing in the present.
- Ten only fights 3 times against Ataru; Lum finds Super Delicious Planet Golden Special Reserve Gorgeous Aftercare Kit right after he provides Ten with the Deluxe Backmirror.
- The scene in which Super Delicious Planet Golden Special Reserve Gorgeous Aftercare Kit flies alone over the city and gives a speech about his occupation is exclusive to the anime.
