The Fossil Creature was a bizarre amalgamated creature made up of fossils from different animals that were incorrectly put together and brought to life by Lum's revival gun.
Biography[]
The fossils and bones that make up the creature were found by Lum, Ataru, Shutaro, Shinobu and Ten while they were out on a picnic in the Fossil Backcountry. In their enthusiasm, Ataru, Lum and Ten put the fossilized remains together at random and gave it the shape of a bird-like creature which Lum then brought to life with one of her alien devices. The result was an energetic but harmless-looking creature that screeched and ran about uncontrollably.
After their adventure in the mountains, the Fossil Creature followed them to Tomobiki-cho where it began to cause a ruckus in Ataru's house. Ever since then the creature could sometimes be seen across town or even outside of it, even competing in a ski race or bathing at the otherworldly Asura Bathhouse.
