The Snowman (雪ダルマ, Yuki Daruma) is a mysterious living character from outer space.
Biography[]
During Winter, it crash lands on Earth and accidentally hits Ten, who then tries to melt it with his fire breath only to end up flaming Ataru who happened by. Believing Ataru is defending it, although Ataru remains oblivious that it’s alive, the snowman follows him everywhere the following day, and would hide behind him when Ten tries to melt it again twice.
During the night, he overhears Ataru saying he’d rather be haunted by a cute girl, so it appears to Ataru as a cute pink-haired girl and awards him with a late night dinner in his backyard. However, when Ataru jumps on it and tries to kiss it, it reveals its true form and flies away, much to Ataru’s shock.

- While having the appearance of a young girl, it has the voice of Tsuyuko Amamori, Asuka Mizunokōji and Kyoko Otonashi of Maison Ikkoku .
- An identical moving snowman would be featured in two other manga series by Rumiko Takahashi:
- One used by Principal Kuno of Ranma 1/2 when he is introduced.
- One in Chapter 177 of Kyoukai no Rinne.
