  • Here’s my suggestion for pages surrounding the manga:
I used to read summaries of chapters in furinkan.com but I was never satisfied as I could not envision well the situations. And as manga chapters are easy to find and read online nowadays, I don’t see the point of reading a summary.

So this is an example of what I have done in the Kyoukai no Rinne wikia: https://kyokainorinne.fandom.com/wiki/Volume_01

Rather than having pages about chapters, I made pages about the volumes that show short synopsis of each featured chapters and what characters are featured in the whole volume.

And the synopsis are written in a style in the hope of encouraging the readers curiosity and prompt them to either check the manga online or buy the volumes which is what the authors hope for.

    • So we do the same with UY? I intend to do it with Maison Ikkoku

Alright, that sounds good for you.

    • Ok, I shall prepare a page for Volume 1 for both UY and Maison Ikkoku, which should make it easier to create the other pages of the other volumes (by copying the code of Volume 1). As I'm on holiday now, it might take a while until I get it done. Of course, it means that the pages of the chapters that show nothing should be erased (after all the volumes are done) like I did with Kyoukai no Rinne (there were few chapters pages with nothing), and therefore it's not necessary to show a link to the chapters when editing the episodes pages showing their manga counterparts, unless you want to show a link to the volume where the chapter can be found.

I will take care of some volumes for both if you don’t want to make them.

    • Well if you can, go ahead. Not that I don't want to, it's just that I'm away and I'm doing things that are simpler (the UY songs) to not consume my days only on the computer
