Unbaba Tetsu (ウンババ鉄, Unbaba Tetsu?) is an infamous high school student and gigantic thug from Sanrinbō High School, feared by many at Tomobiki High School for causing trouble with his two monstrous followers the Franken Brothers. Unbaba and the Franken Brothers also act as enforces for the popular girls of Sanrinbō High School, acting on their behalf if a major event threatens the popularity hierarchy of Tomobiki.
Character[]
Unbaba is a giant of a man with dark skin who easily towers over the other residents in Tomobiki and even his own two monster-like subordinates, making him a regular goliath.
He comes off as a cocky and violent man who loves to fight and scare others, happily marching through the gates of Tomobiki High to goad and challenge all of its students to a brawl. However he is a fair sport to some small degree, preferring for others to accept his challenge rather than rush in and attack randomly, and if he has been ordered to target someone that has angered Sanrinbō High's girls (such as Ataru) he will give his victim a small chance to undo their mistake (mostly through very harsh intimidation). He also cares about the balance of the popularity hierarchy among the high schools and became furious when Ataru showed no concern for all the "butts" that would be on the line if he ever left Lum.
Most notably, Unbaba has on his back a unique tattoo of a 'No U-Turn' sign which symbolizes his reputation of never running away from a fight, however his reputation was destroyed after an encounter with one of Tomobiki High's bizarre events. He also seems to dislike geese.
Abilities[]
His large size likely grants him impressive strength, being able to easily crush a large rock with just one bare hand and was easily able to beat Megane to a pulp despite the heavy-duty mobile suit armor he had on. Unbaba has a fearsome reputation as a bully and for never running away from a fight, at least until his encounter with Tomobiki High's "cyborg gang" who he was powerless against.

- In the manga, Unbaba's unnamed counterpart was a shorter and uglier student with lighter skin who wielded a bokken and was from Butsumetsu High School rather than Sanrinbō, and instead of a U-turn tattoo he had a Healthy tattoo on his back.
- Unbaba is apparently too old to be in high school, as two men in Episode 64 were shocked that he and the Franken Brothers were still in school.
